Thank you all those that decided to travel to Porto and are lucky enough to be able to really do it, to attend again an in-person , after Genova, 2019, despite all uncertainties of our VUCA world of the last years, and last weeks… Muito obrigado! :)

Our plan for 2022 actually started back in 2019, to organize 2020. But it couldn’t happen…

For 2022, we updated the plan to make it really flexible, embracing change, to the extreme point of doing it in a challenging “dual format”:

• we defined four scenarios for number of participants;
• we identified many alternative options to all sessions and social events;
• we continuously refined the scenarios all the way from March 2021 until today (few days before);
• we did many pre-bookings and commitments with venues and suppliers (internal to the university and external), all revertible, and pushing to the limit of all suppliers’ deadlines, knowing in advance that the best day to close all details it will be 2-3 days before the event, today and tomorrow, and together with all of you.

By now, you may have registered and planned your favorite sessions of the technical and social program of the conference.

We will send to all registered a way of sharing with us your plan for the next week, especially your commitment to join social events, or not, which ones, as they are all optional.

To conclude, we should say that the local team at Porto, together with all organization team, we are all extremely happy to receive you and provide you a memorable experience in Porto!

Technical program is full of interesting sessions, with 2 keynotes, 15 talks, 6 demos, 3 workshops, 1 tutorial.

In addition, an Open Space track will welcome and host your last minute ideas and interests on leading sessions with the other participants.

The Social Program includes several social events, providing a mashup of Porto’s attractions, from historical to cultural, gastronomic and social, including local academy and industry. All of this to promote informal and playful conversations, to make sure that your experience will be unique and memorable. In order to close numbers and confirm the pre-bookings made months ago at all the planned venues, we will ask you very soon about the events you want to join.
